Come witness the beauty of the northern forest and experience the delight of migrants and morning mists. Whether embroidered with soft buds and birdsong or fiery autumn foliage, enjoy the enchantment of the northern woods in springtime, the return to voice of the waterways and the forests, after winter’s long silence. Debsconeag Lake Wilderness Camps, situated within a vast protected wilderness area that lies roughly between Greenville and Millinocket. The camp sits on a beautiful, protected, wooded shoreline that provides privacy, abundant wildlife, and endless opportunities for exploration and discovery, A sense of tranquility and timelessness is felt in this wilderness region; much of the shore land is protected by conservation easements. Each day includes time for exploration, for solitude, and for sharing in community. Previous canoeing experience not required.
